Good ramen around town! Wouldn’t say my favorite but it’s good!

Tl;Dr "Good Soup" - Adam Driver I'll be honest I'm a very critical person when it comes to ramen. Ramen is a miniature contained universe of diverse and contrasting flavors. It is a balance. Hakata Ikkousha has achieved near perfection for my criteria. Opinions are subjective so I implore you go in with no expectations and taste for yourself. The tonkotsu broth has a very rich porky flavor it is salty however do not let that dissuade your opinion you can adjust the strength of the broth. I like mine rich. You have options on how firm or soft you want your noodles. The noodles themselves are fresh and I get mine firm they hold their tensile strength and do not go limp. Toppings are simple. You aren't bombarded with numerous choices. Yes variety is the zest of life; however, the small amount of choices for toppings keeps it very simple and makes life easier. The chashu pork is wonderful. Chashu pork is seasoned braised pork. You can taste the quality of the pork. Sometimes you can taste if it's aged or if they just stewed the meat but Hakata Ikkousha has preserved the flavor of the pork despite being seasoned in soy sauce and other spices. The quality of the meat is excellent. My experience was amazing. In the immortal words of Adam Driver "Good Soup 👌." I recommend trying the tonkotsu first and then the black garlic tonkotsu. The black garlic adds a sweetness that balances the saltiness of the broth.

I tried the god fire ramen with heat number 2 and the broth was delicious. The ramen noodles however are very thin. Like angel hair pasta so that kind of threw it off. Overall it was a good experience. Food was fast and the workers are friendly and they do a great job with social distancing in the tables.

I got a ramen. It only had one very thin small slice of meat. I went to other ramen places before, where they serve you more meat for cheaper price. I asked the waiter about it, and she told me that it's normal, and if I want more meat, I need to order separately. The broth was good. The bowl looks big from top, but it gets smaller and smaller towards the bottom like a funnel to trick you. I won't come to this place again.

Its very tasty. Just a bit more garlic, but not overwhelming.
