Booking was great, went through our Lacrosse Club via EventConnect who blocked these rooms. Check-in was smooth and simple, very welcoming staff at the front desk. Attended to every need during our stay. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable! There was an issue with our TV that needed to be replaced and it was taken care of very quickly and the maintenance guy was super friendly! The bad... one of the breakfast attendees was not friendly throughout the stay. She started cleaning up 15 minutes before breakfast was to be over and would not refill the waffle batter. Next morning, we came too early, around 6am. Breakfast begins at 6:30. So, we came back promptly at 6:30am. All food was out ready to go. Had 3 families sit there and wait for another 8 minutes while she filled the juice. Even questioned my wife how our last name was spelled. Overall, unapproachable. The other lady was pleasant though. Again, I hate to give this place a bad service rating. All staff were "amazing" except for the one breakfast attendee.

This hotel is centrally located and quite popular. They’re also short staffed which may be part of the problem with the room cleanliness which is why only give it two stars. I’m not particularly picky with hotels cleanliness but I was disgusted by the state of the vanity and the caulking around the sink. It had undergone only the most cursory of cleaning and the curtains were clearly stained. Perhaps because they were so busy and short staffed they don’t have more time to be more attentive but I won’t stay here next time. Oxford Hotel is a few steps from them and I suspect better kept than this one.

Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Close to local dining and restaurants. One of the wall air conditioning units was not fully functional, but there was a sign posted in the room regarding this. Super friendly bartender. I was here for a staycation and would definitely return.

Location and staff were great. So close to downtown. For the price, the rooms need work. I stayed in 207. Removing the discolored and moldy caulking around the vanity and using furniture markers to try and cover the holes/nicks in the furniture would make it feel like you are actually staying in a Hilton property. The bathroom door had dime sized gashes on the edges, as if someone tried prying the door open, and the bathroom door doesn’t lock. Also- the microwaves are too small to cook the popcorn. The bags are too large that it can’t rotate properly to cook evenly/pop evenly. Makes the popcorn a waste.
