This place is a hit and a miss. As a true Cajun from the heart of Louisiana I was hoping for more. Everyone thinks New Orleans has the best food but it does not. New Orleans is full of tourists who mess with our food and try to pass it as Louisiana food. The fries and the poboy were sublime but I’m really disappointed in the red beans and this place version of Gumbo. The red beans didn’t have anything smoked in it first of all as well as the Gumbo. Secondly the red beans tasted Mexican and not Louisiana made. Thirdly, this place version of Gumbo is basically a thick soup. I did not taste any roux and please for the love of God where’s the smoked meat. The color was almost clear like when gumbo is meant to look BROWN!

Food wasn't really that good but their hurricane was great! Maybe I went on a bad day for the kitchen. The blackened shrimp was very salty. The red beans and rice was good but didn't come with any rice in it. I had to ask for it. The service was great though!

Took my leftovers back on my flight to Illinois and my very picky elderly parents were so impressed. The owner was really nice also. The best tasting food in bland Colorado!!!!!!!! Everyone in these reviews who says the food is not good is either a rival restaurant owner or drug user.

I described a dish with my review on accident. Bottom line. The food is sick dope tight. Highly recommend this place. Has big time New Orleans energy.
