Very unfortunate that this library has experienced various relocations and seemingly tossed around by the county executives at their whim without regard to the public need. How can they expect to foster an educated and successful generation of people without high focus on these resources which are hard to come by in areas like Florence/Firestone. The people of the community must make their voices heard. As a personal anecdote, I grew up going here and would not have been able to achieve my dream of going to a great university without the learning that took place in the Florence Ave. Building. Wishing the best for this space.

I called this library to ask if they had a book available and after talking to the very helpful librarian on the phone I visited and had a library card, book, and smile on my face from the awesome service I received here from Karina ( sorry if I got your name wrong) and from having access to this great resource. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, clean quiet environment, available parking, all in all 5 stars. Thank you!

The staff are super nice to talk to and it gets so busy Monday through Thursday! Overall it's a cool place to be when you need to check out books or when kids need help on homework because the volunteers are super nice!!!

They are open, they don't ask for COVID vaccine or negative prof of test, but their is a limited capacity that they allow to be inside the library, if the visit is short there is no problem.

Adult computer 1 hour increments 2 hours a day max county wide. It wont reset if you go to another library and try to use the computer after your 2 hours . If you have a laptop you may use it all day I believe.

There is homework help Monday-Saturday. Homework help Monday through Friday it's in the afternoon and Saturday it's in the morning about right after they open.
There should be some if there ain't none in their library they can order from another library and you can pick it up at there library if it's the closes one to you or whatever other library you want to pick it up from
Yes new system now you get 10 free copies after the 10th one you have to pay 15cents per copy :)
