Dr. Wise was suppose to call back today. That never happen as well as calling back Anthem's executive as well. I asked three times to switch doctors. They can not write out a simple MRI referral . They keep denying the doctors switch. MRI summit-ed in was not correct. It was supposed to be on nerves. Not cardiac ! With the other two MRI's needed from lower back and neck. They lied to me they said they can treat Occipital Neuralgia and Trigeminal Neuralgia. Shoot they can't even write out a simple referral even though I spelled it out to them. After I got the MRI done. I called Northern Light Neurologist Center spoke with their director. She said. " Your condition is so complex there isn't any one in Bangor that can treat you. You have to go to Boston to get treatment. We do not have the technology up here to treat it." She reviewed all my related medical records including brain MRI. She consulted with her staff of doctors as well. My Occupation Physical Therapist needs these MRI so she can treat the critical inflammation nerve spots . To help ease the pain. Does Dr Wise care? Apparently not. Does he care about his patient.?Apparently not. By the way Pfizer vaccine is the cause of this. USA is doing everything possible to cover it up. Say no to vaccines keep big corporate out of politics . This Pfizer Vaccine kills people. My case a slow very painful death. A USA Disabled Veteran . I will have my P.C.P. find me another physicist to go to. Get this they did not even make a follow up appointment to go over the MRI. They had over two weeks to summit the other two MRI's that are needed. For such a small place you think they would be on their toes. When you do reach their director she gives you the complete run around . They are working on it. Or I will have Dr. Wise call you. If you need serious care I recommend go else where . This place is definitely not wheel chair friendly. Imagine if I was in a larger wheel chair like the ones they have in the hospitals I wouldn't be able to make it in their. Web monitor your to late. I have spoken your apologies are unacceptably and meaningless to me. Just another routine lie. If you did care you would have addressed these issues long time a go left by other patients. Update avoid this place all together. They lied to me ,Anthem Blue Shield Blue Cross representative and their Prior Authorization Department called Aim. Their staff are very rude besides unable to perform simple task. Unfortunately they can not blame this on me as some places do. Their operations are very dangerous in cases like mine. They definitely do not have a clue what they are doing. I called today to confront them.about. Emily hung up the phone right a way. Amy said I won't be talked to like this when I started to tell her that there wasn't any referrals sent into Anthem Blue Shield Blue Cross. That they are lying about it. My P.C.P is referring me to another doctor. Very horrible place no wonder they are on the out skirts of Bangor. This shows they definitely don't care about their patients period. To bad for them this rare condition needs to be monitored constantly regular bases. That's a lot of money lost for them.

Awful practice. The treatments caused worse pain and it’s impossible to get any answers about what my options are. They don’t pickup the phone or return any of my calls. Also not very clean. I didn’t see anything in the building get wiped down whatsoever the entire time I was there. They had a lot of people in there too.

Not a good experience. I came to this pain clinic many times for chronic lower back pain. They seem to know what they're doing and have state of the art equipment, but I ended up in the hospital for an extended stay with a blood and bone infection, caused they told me from the injections. After the hospital, 8 weeks of daily injections of an antibiotic through a PIC line. Never have been in so much pain in my life. I couldn't even move. After it was all over I have more pain than I started with... Maybe I was just one of the unlucky ones.//// 3 years later. Spine infection finally healed. Vertebrates fused together crooked. Now in constant pain. Can't stand upright for very long, and usually have to walk with a cane. Pain is constantly getting worse. Also, because of the infection I seem to catch everything going around and then some. Weakened immune system. Not reccomended!

I was sent to this place for my spinal cord injury. First of all I had problem in parking my vehicle. Place was crowded and barely any place to park. Inside came the second surprise, in a tiny waiting area there is only one restroom. Patients literally were standing in a line to use this facility. My third surprise was when the nurse asked me why I came there. I was under the impression that my doctor has already sent them the info about me (actually he did, she later told me). They insisted I should sign a waiver that I knew the possible side-effects, it is a normal procedure before surgeries, but for a cortisone shot all this was surprising. I do not have a medical insurance, I was paying for all this from my pocket and I was not willing to suffer further if something goes wrong (like paralysis & permanent nerves damage). I was told it was just a formality, they have done these procedures at least 50,000 times with no bad experiences. I had a bad feeling therefore I left without the shot, later I read these reviews. I am glad I declined their treatment. I have some discomfort, but thank goodness nothing else is happening to me.

No, they do not handle meds, or manage them in any way, that is the responsibility of your primary care provider. Northeast Pain is a place where patients can go for interventional pain procedures and techniques, that help you manage your long term pain, and these procedures often work in conjunction with your daily meds and sometimes also incorporate physical therapy.
