The good: -Decent location -Keypad entry into buildings and apartment The bad: -Poor management (unresponsive to all communication once your lease is signed) -“Smoke-free” property that always smells of smoke in the halls. -Paid garage parking that is always full (except the very top uncovered parking lot) and cars are vandalized daily. -Filthy elevators that were out of order at least 5 days a month -They don’t charge a deposit but automatically charge $300 upon move-out -The noise! The smoke alarms randomly go off at all hours. If you enjoy sleeping at 2am, don’t lease an apartment facing a pool. -The trash shoots are convenient but poorly maintained. The smell throughout the adjacent halls is terrible, especially in the summer. -There are plenty of reviews about how they mislead you upon move-out, I didn’t read them. Don’t be like me. If you’re a college student and the location is convenient, this is likely a solid option. It definitely has college dorm vibes. Also, they give out gift cards for 5 star reviews..so there’s that.

Not taking management into account, I would give living at Fitzsimons a 4/5 stars. Enjoyed living there, nice amenities, good mix of young and older people. A couple nice restaurants within walking distance, Lost Coffee shop as well (5/5 stars). Reason for 2 star review: I have lost trust in management. Reasons why I have lost trust in management: Let them know I would be signing the lease to move in (my mistake, term had expired and needed a new lease agreement), Kali then proceeded to tell me the next day that a $500 discount was no longer valid. I found this convenient as they had just gotten the information that I was planning on signing the lease, and proceeded to tell me I couldn't get a new signee discount. After emails with manager, he was able to honor discount. $500 did not seem like a lot to me in a $18,000 12 month lease, but ok Kali, fight for Fitzsimons (and likely a bonus?). There are about $100 in other monthly fees, this including pest control, trash, and other services. This was asked about in initial tour and wasn't made clear to me. I did not re-sign my lease, then proceeded to get a text telling me my move out date was a week before what was reflected on my lease. This was blamed on the computer system as an "error". All conveniences happened to vastly benefit the management company, which I just don't believe. Overall, good place to live, before even signing lease had lost trust in management and they never got it back. Just a great location for me. """""""After response from management"""""""" I think all other responses to reviews look the same (automated response) Your other automated assistant is "Taylor", I have never met "Susan". Maybe Nick(?), or Kali(?) (real people), would like to talk? Changed to 1 star based on response. If you want to live in a "franchised" place, where you are just a #, live here! We were charged a cleaning fee because I did not to return the apartment "professionally cleaned", or showed evidence that I paid for professional cleaning services before returning the apartment. My wife and I spent 2 days cleaning the apartment using all our cleaning products we had remaining before moving out. Per my lease agreement, I was supposed to return the apartment in the condition that it was given to me. The lease agreement does not mention anything related to returning a professionally cleaned apartment. I have videos that prove that I returned the apartment as clean as it was provided. It is outrageous to charge an amount that was not agreed upon in my lease. When submitting a complaint, the person over the phone justified this by saying that the professionally cleaned requirement was part of the move-out instructions. However, these move-out instructions were not provided to us after submitting a move out notice. I elevated this issue into a dispute and got an unreasonable response without proper reference to the agreement or any additional documents that I was supposed to have followed. In addition, the internet in amenity areas is awful and we saw mice near the trash rooms on the second floor of building 5.

A relatively nice place to live and very close to campus! I live in a single bedroom apartment and it fits my needs perfectly. The kitchen and closet have tons of space! I chose to live here for the convenience of not having to drive to campus and so far I have no complaints. I was caught off guard by some of the small charges for different things but those come with the territory of an apartment. The staff is very friendly and tries to make sure that maintenance and resigning your lease goes smoothly. The amenities are nice and I use the grills often!!! I only wish that they had a hot tub with the pool. I have recommended the place to others as well!

I live on the 3rd floor, and I can hear my upstairs neighbors daily, I can hear them walking/running around all the time, they have children. I can only hear my neighbors on one side of me if they are vacuuming. I can hear noise from the hallways as well.
