My mother lived at Sunrise in the memory care unit from 2018 until her death in 2022. We moved her there from Colorado after a very long search for the best place for her. We weren’t disappointed. The facility is clean, the policies are well thought out, but it’s the staff that makes it so special. She had been ‘in the system’ of escalation from Independent Living to Assisted Living to Memory Care for 4 years already and we had a fair amount of experience by the time we landed at Sunrise of Fullerton. We’re a pretty hands on family and this was definitely not a 'out of sight' kind of relationship although you could probably do that if you want. All through the pandemic we did weekly skype calls, visits through the window with masks and distancing, you name it. We would have done whatever was required to give her the best life possible. I think Sunrise did that, and especially Rich. Normally I wouldn’t single out the highest profile team member because the background staff is loaded with excellent people too. I’m talking about the people who prepare the food, who clean the spaces, move the furniture, and repair what needs repair. All of it. It’s a big job. I honestly can say, if I had the need, I would live there. Maybe some day I will.

My mom made the move into assisted living in 2013. After touring and evaluating all options for her in Orange County we chose Sunrise of Fullerton. This was a great decision for her and for us, her children. The communication, healthcare, activities, and food are all very good, but best of all is the TLC she receives on a daily basis. The staff truly have hearts for seniors. Our stress and worries about her wellbeing and care are low. Sunrise has helped us keep our sanity and peace of mind during the pandemic. This is invaluable!

Truly caring staff, clean homey environment and delicious, nutritious food! Our 80 year old Auntie has been here nearly a year at the Terrace Club, the middle-level memory care unit, and she loves it! She is active, walking with the staff up and down the hallways and out in the sunshine. She plays the group games and visits with the other residents. This home completely cancels out the idea of "putting Grandma in a home", because the residents are comfortable, and engaged. There is a care provider always close by to offer help and solace. Medical staff work with each residents doctors to provide meds as directed, and observations of daily conditions. This is THE BEST Home we could have chosen for our Auntie!
