The employees are nice but they always seem to be short staffed. Waited nearly an hour after my appointment time. Not the first time this has happened. I understand maybe 15 minutes to clean and prepare the room but nearly an hour is unprofessional. My appointment last year, they had to reschedule me. I make my appointments 6 months in advanced so it's a little frustrating. I can't plan on anything else after my appointments because I have to plan on being there all day since I don't get called back for an hour. I think they could be more professional if they planned their day a little better. They must be using an old scheduling tool based on full staffing. They need to reevaluate the time spent per patient. It's definitely a domino effect - if Patient 1's appt goes 10 minutes late, then Patient B's appt starts 10 minutes late. And if Patient B's appt is also 10 minutes longer, then Patient C doesn't get seen until 20 minutes after his scheduled appt. I feel bad for the employees because by the end of the day they could be nearly 2 hours off schedule. And of course they will stay and see each patient. But then the next day it starts all over. Based on their staffing, I think they overbook themselves. And definitely underestimate how long their appointments run for.

What I experienced was near torture. Towards the end of December I came here for an emergency dental issue. My tooth broke while eating over the holiday. One Bright Now Dental technician had xray-ed me, which caused me much trouble and extreme pain. Rather than take note of my injury, she was already attempting to jam xray slides into my mouth while I had a broken tooth. They did not find the fracture that lay center of tooth number 4, and instead of using science, medical ethics, or logic as a guide to proceed, the dentist decided to give me pain pills and try to do a mold for teeth grinding- all while parts of my actual tooth was painfully falling out. THE ASSISTANT took me aside and TOLD ME TO LIE- told me to tell the dentist we took the mold because she saw how much pain I was in. Towards the end of this extremely painful and unprofessional session, the dentist finally asked to actually look at my tooth, and asked where it hurt. I showed her, and she PRESSED DOWN on that spot, causing me deep unrest and pain. She said that the food that broke my tooth could not have done that, and told me I was just stressed out. I found this lack of ethics or empathy particularly disturbing even right now. She then recommended I go to an endodontist (who also was crooked), and was not able to administrate treatment of any adequacy whatsoever. Their lack of treatment resulted in the loss of my entire tooth. This dentist should immediately have their license pulled. It's sickening to know psychopaths can get away with what they did here. Protect your family and seek treatment where it is truly offered. It was surely not found here, in my painful experience.
