Hands down the best sandwiches in MIssoula! My personal favorite is the megadeath, but they are all great (so far)! I strongly recommend branching out and trying new ones. I have yet to be disappointed!

Stopped in for a sandwich for lunch with my partner on a road trip home Friday (2/4) and I'm still dreaming of his sandwich. Mine was absolutely amazing and I do not regret anything about it, but everything about his sandwich was so well balanced and flavorfull! Super fresh and tasty ingredients plus informed employees that seemed stoked on the products. I hope I get a repeat chance to visit, maybe even be able to grab some deli items for the next sandwich, too. Some great vegetarian options for those not into meat, too.

These sandwiches are phenomenal! I love the bread, the spicy garlic aioli, the portions...honestly, I don't even have a complaint. The sandwiches are full of flavor, never dry, and the ingredients look and taste fresh. I recommend the Beach Boy. **chef's kiss** Well done, Tagliare!

This place has some of the most sophisticated Covid Safety practices I've ever seen. They have set up a makeshift barrier between the customer area and the front counter. It is unlikely that any one would come within six feet of the employees at any point inside the building. After you've placed your order, you wait outside in your car. I specifically made a comment about how safe they are when I left the other day.
As a Missoula resident who is certainly not an authority on things Italian or German but who has been to Italy on a couple of occasions, it seems to me that the Tagliare Delicatessen seems very Italian and not at all German (although I've never been to Germany). It is where I go in Missoula when I want quality Italian meats from the deli, homemade pesto, bagettes from a local Italian bakery, as well as where I know I can purchase hard to find pasta.
