This place is special. The experience is actually better than the ice cream quality, to be quite honest, but it's worth a stop...especially if you have young kids. It's quintessential San Francisco, and you can get lost in the flavors of chocolates and sundaes. Have fun!

If you visit SF, you should have some Ghirardelli chocolate and/or ice cream. Even though it is way over priced for what you get, I guess one is paying for some of the experience. We went to the store on Market on an early Sunday afternoon and it was not busy. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and funny.

This is definitely a chocolate lover’s paradise! I was hopeful that the ice cream would be much better, but I thought it was good not great. Don’t get me wrong I definitely finished it but have had much better for much better price. We had to try it out for the experience though.
