We had an absolutely wonderful time at Bear Creek Guest Ranch. With so many crowded and busy places around Glacier National Park, Bear Creek was a quiet peace of Heaven and felt like we were staying with family. Our cabin was spacious and cozy, with every morning spent on the porch with a cup of coffee in the cool crisp air. Bill, Diana, Dusty and Indi treated us like friends and opened up their home and lodge and made us feel welcome. Breakfasts were delicious and spent alongside our hosts with great conversation and many helpful hints as to the local restaurants and sites to visit. To top it all off, we had the most amazing horseback ride into the Montana wilderness on some great and happy horses. If we missed a breakfast due to early hiking, we got a huge sack lunch instead to take with us. Quiet times were spent at the lodge with games and puzzles and some coffee or tea, or visiting the horses and watching wild life. The location was perfect with about an hour drive to just about any area of the Park and most hikes. Bear Creek Ranch is the perfect place if you are looking for a quiet place where you are treated like family. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to coming back again!

The hosts, the help, and the horses at Bear Creek Ranch are the best of the best. Kind, thoughtful, patient teachers and experts on the lay of the land and riding. The meals were absolutely fantastic and we walked away with a few new recipes to try and full bellies. I plan on visiting Diana and Bill with my family again..and again..and again if they’ll let us. Thank you for a wonderful trip of a lifetime!

Fantastic family vacation! I can’t say enough about this place; from the wonderful hosts, Bill and Diana, employees Linda and John, the serene and majestic setting, the loved and truly cared for herd of horses, and the morning breakfasts...all top notch. This is the real deal. Our day rides were spectacular! You just can’t imagine the scenery! The clinic we took with Bill and John was so fun and educational. I have quite a bit of experience with horses and riding, having grown up with a horse. However, Bill and John taught me a few new things. I came away from the clinic a better horseman and a more confident rider. Take my advice...plan a trip to Bear Creek Guest Ranch!

Our stay at Bear Creek Ranch was one we will never forget! The cabins were adorable and just what we needed for a week stay, the horses were very well trained and fun for all levels of riding, breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious, and I couldn't say enough good things about the owners and co-workers. Everyone was so hospitable and accommodating. Also, the location was convenient when wanting to visit either side of the park with neighboring small towns for shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be going back if we have the chance. I highly recommend staying at Bear Creek Ranch.

Bear Creek Ranch is located only 200 yards from the southern board of Glacier National Park, with hiking trails right out the front door. East Glacier park, which is the east entrance to Glacier Park is easily accessible by road, and is only 17 miles from the Ranch along highway 2.
