Fort Red Roost -A Family Affair

From the "Welcome" to the "Goodbye" you will love this place! The history inside the walls of this beautiful home, is so previously preserved and shared by Mr Jim. The rooms are beautiful, the balcony is amazing, but the hospitality is what makes it a must for your destination. Mr Jim's chocolate chip cookies are delicious! And Mrs Faye's breakfast is a mother's good morning hug. ❤️

I visited recently with my two granddaughters(17 & 18). We loved the home and our upstairs room with great views of the grounds and private access to the balcony. The family style full breakfast in the beautiful dining room was delicious and enjoyable. We lingered over coffee and chatted with the other guests. A relaxing and amazing getaway. We hope to return in the spring for a longer stay.

I wish I could give more stars! We enjoyed our stay immensely! Jim is a wonderful, gracious host. We enjoyed learning about the history of the house, playing board games with the other guests at night and a comfortable, safe place to stay. Can’t wait to stay again!
