Very rude unprofessional place I've ever been to, It took 5+nurses over fifteen minutes trying to get an IV started in me,and when I say they stabbed me from my fingertips to my shoulders Im not dramatizing it and I checked in with congestive heart failure negative for COVID-19 and it's varients. So why would they "Hillcrest emergency center" want to house me on their COVID wing with active COVID patient's that are deathly I'll. When they told me they couldn't release me so I can go to a different facility. I proceeded to disconnect it all EKG, monitors I.V.etc and left.

Receptionist was rude and not helpful at all, then the resident and nurse continued to follow in her footsteps. Asked for the attending and finally she showed up and acted professionally when her and the one nurse Lisa were able to act like they had some empathy for a patient in need of care. What happened to bedside manners??? I understand it’s a pandemic but let’s treat everyone with respect and listen when a patient tells you what’s going on and what has and hasn’t worked in the past. Receptionist yelling God Bless you which is blasphemy when you don’t mean it and you saying it out of spite Anlithia God don’t like hypocrites. So don’t say anything you not serious about, you make yourself look silly when an elder stoops lower than a snakes belly on the ground.

The dr, nurses and staff are amazing. I was in and out pretty quick. It's an emergency room with people more in need them me so I understood the wait. The dr talked to me like a human and was very kind. The nurses were juss as kind. After learning I couldn't afford my medication they gave me a coupon. Still I didn't have enough they knew that. The nurses gave me the money I needed from their own pocket. I have never been to a better place. They really came through for me. Thanks to all the staff!!

Horrible experience, I took my mother here because she had a very bad seizure and a male doctor told her to go home 4 hours later after all he did was look at her eyes with a flash light. We got a few blocks away before she had another horrible seizure she almost bit her tongue off , she had blood everywhere then the same doctor wanted to act like she bit her tongue on purpose . Their doctors are horrible & their nurses are rude. The people at the desk in the emergency area were rude as well.
