The hotel it's self isn't bad if you don't mind sleeping in old cigarette smoke rooms with the frequent smell of pot. The worst part of this hotel is the manager lady. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and never been treated as rudely as she treated our entire group. We are a softball team and she informed us this was a workers hotel and we shouldn't have booked there. They padlocked the pool so the girls couldn't use it and then complained the girls were inside the hotel. If there were a zero star option this hotel would get it.

Although daytime staff was friendly and the room was fairly clean, we had to leave the hotel late at night and go to another location for safety. It seems this hotel has many long-term tenants and some are unsavory. First, my husband and I entered through a side entrance to go upstairs to our room. A man was near the entrance when we came in, followed us upstairs (never saying a word) and down the hall. As soon as we entered our room and shut the door, he started knocking. My husband answered the door and the guy asked for someone named Neal, knowing that we were the only 2 people in the room and never saying anything as he followed us up the stairs and down the hall to our room. Second, I went to get something out of our truck when i overheard a group of men sitting outside talking about me (as they made no effort to speak in low voices and made it obvious what they were thinking as they laughed about it). Lastly, my husband went downstairs to the truck and saw men sitting around outside in their underwear. We were done. We left about 9:45pm that night and checked in to another hotel down the road. My husband went back to get our stuff (he said I didn’t need to go back and left me at the Holiday Inn) and told the night desk clerk what happened and never received a refund.

I bought a new business near by and needed a place to stay while I set it up. I’ll be here for a week :( I noticed they had a great rate. Maybe to good, so I booked a single night, after I checked in I added 3 more. Great place, the morning lady at the front desk is warm and cheerful. Possibly an owner as she actually seemed like she cared. Great value for the money.
