Whoever owns these apartments and change office people need to understand their own leases.my son lived here who passed away.they made his co signer pay two months of rent and also pay penelity to break the lease.im pretty sure the special provisions are in the lease for issues such as death.to top it off the new office lady asked her boss about this and told me she was told not to tell me anything! Lastly they stupidly sent the co signer the security deposit back in my son's name who is passed away! I am pushing for him to contact a lawyer since no one here seems to care or help a tragic situation! All bout taking someones money who don't have it .

Horrible management, and even worse after the greystar takeover. Greystar absorbed this building during my stay here (1 year) and things went from bad to worse. Dogs constantly peeing in the elevator, maintenance crew was next go worthless. They tried to charge my the month of rent twice when they took over because apparently the transition was sloppy, and then never gave me my security deposit back even though they tried to deduct it from the second time they tried to charge me February rent lol. So basically admit I left the apartment in great shape and still withhold my security deposit after I show you proof I paid my rent. What a complete joke but hey, at least the building is alright.

I moved into the Meridia about 7 months ago I love it, I just recently moved up to a higher floor and a larger apartment which I have had tremendous help from Jennifer Collins, everybody that works in the building. Everybody is very pleasant and kind and helpful. Not only that they treat my dog diamond like she's one of their own. Since Jennifer has come on board I have gotten more things done and handled correctly then with the previous office manager. Thanks to everyone at the Meridia.

Do not waste your money here! Nothing but an endless stream of problems and ownership that does nothing to fix the issues. 1. Dogs use the restroom all over the place. I have come home from work multiple times to find dog poop in the lobby or in the hall. I even stepped in a pile outside the front door that sat there for literally 2 weeks and was never cleaned by the building maintenance. And when it was eventually cleaned the remains were never fully removed. Have you guys seriously never heard of a power washer? 2. Windows never get washed. We were promised that the windows would get washed once per quarter upon move-in. That definitely never happened. As a matter of fact, they were only cleaned once in the two years I lived there. I saw several people bring this to management's attention a number of times on our community app and they got nothing but the run around, empty promises of trying to get it scheduled the following week, and then the following week, etc. Finally happened last fall BUT whoops they forgot to wash all the windows. Several resident's windows got skipped after management assured us that the crew they used were done. How does that even happen? Did you even check the work of the contractors you paid? Obviously not. 3. Packages get stolen EVERY SINGLE DAY. I think it's interesting that this property prides itself on being secure and giving everyone peace of mind. How in the world can packages be stolen each and every day for the past year and (1) management does not acknowledge the issue and (2) NOTHING is done about it. It is clearly YOUR job to ensure that building security is carried out and that's evidently not getting done. 4. Key fob system fails frequently. In the two years I lived at The Meridia, I had to get 2 new key fobs in addition to the original one that was given to me. It's not the fact that the system went out, I understand Meridia has no control over that but if there is an issue that's affecting multiple residents, that needs to be communication to EVERYONE from the get go. That's what the app is for! 5. Building cleanliness is not up to par. Hall carpets vacuumed rarely - same particles of who knows what remain on the floors for a week. In my two years I have never seen or heard them shampoo the hall carpets. That is absolutely DISGUSTING, especially for a building that is pet friendly with animals bringing in additional debris from the outside. 6. Elevator inspection was over a year expired when I moved out this year - expired in January 2018! That is flat out NEGLIGENT. How does this even happen! Where is building maintenance? Why is management not seeing this? To be honest, I feel sorry for the property manager giving the tour when a possible resident sees that - that's embarrassing to say the least. This is a complete fail by the property. 7. Parking situation is horrendous. This really can't be blamed on Meridia but it is something that you'll have to deal with if you live here. The parking garage (Secure Parking at 6th & Boston) that comes with living at the apartment is a total nightmare. It's so cramped that even a Fiat has trouble parking, cars get broken into every week and Secure Parking ownership won't help except to say "Sorry, park at your own risk." Again, this is not a reflection on Meridia but I am mentioning it because it kind of tops off what my whole experience was like here. Bottom line, this place is devoid of multifamily management basics 101. Dog has an accident? Power wash the sidewalks! Windows aren't getting washed once per quarter as promised? Don't make promises you can't keep! Packages getting stolen? Get some cameras in the mailroom! Geesh, you'd think that would be common sense. It's obvious that The Meridia has a long way to go before calling themselves a "luxury apartment community." Rudimentary things are missing from your process, things that I really thought would be common sense. My decision to move to The Meridia was by far one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. My advice to anyone who is considering to move here: don't.
