Love this place. Have everything you need for just about any reptile or amphibian you might have living with you. From crickets or flies of any size to mice or rats they have it. Also a good selection of species if youre looking to add to your family. There is a parking lot with a three car limit but street parking is still free in this part of Berkeley. I've never had a problem with access to the store and I go there weekly. Have fun.

Best reptile experience in the bay area. They're very knowledgeable and very professional. If you end up with any CB reptiles they have, it will most likely be one of the best kept specimens you will ever encounter. Grade A service and will definitely be returning and i recommended anyone either local or visiting to please stop and see this shop. You wont regret it

I love going here. The selection of reptiles and critters is so good. They have tarantulas! And giant lizards! The staff is quite knowledgeable. I like the model lizards

This place blew my mind! The staff are super knowledgeable and approachable. I got to watch a guy feed snakes live mice (I love mice but this was so cool!) and we had a discussion about snake feeding and care. The variety of animals was also impressive. They had massive dragon-like moniters and even spiders and geckos. This is definitely a fun and interesting place to take children who are interested in reptiles. It's fun for all ages.

They Sell Roaches. Unsure What Kind. They're Located Towards You're Left Once You Enter The Store.
Okay, assuming your coming from SF, take the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART train to the Rockridge station, then take the 51B bus towards "Berkeley Amtrak". Hop off at the University/4th St stop and you're only a two block walk away!
Yes
I'll be more than happy to give that iguana a new home @JermBO Guaapo
Give'em a call. I'm sure they do, but it may depend on what you're ordering. Great place!!
If they don't have it no one does lol, they have the gecko and everything else you need, including how to take care of it
They are in store only.
I do not believe so but they do have hatchling tortoise
From what I've seen ...$200 & up. My opinion it's, Worth it. They have a Health / beautiful selection of bearded dragons. Leather backs, zeros, ect... The staff are also very helpful. East Bay Vivarium is like a one stop shop. Reading reviews can be helpful however this is one of those places you'll have to check out for yourself 😊
Only rear fanged...like hognose snakes and boigadae
I believe they sell feeder fish but none of those are goldfish.
Yes
Went here last week and I didn't see any western fence lizards. But it's best to call them for availability to be sure.
They don't have a website yet
I was there in September and there weren't any at that time. Not sure about other times of the year.
Mice are usually sold as a feeder. But liks the ogher comments, you can keep them as a pet...i dont see why not.
Check their website it has all available species. I Last time i was there about 2 weeks ago they definitely had leopard geckos unsure what breed or if they had babies
I believe I saw some yes. Give them a call to make sure.
Yes they do! They just posted on their instagram that the got a green one. Looks really nice!
I dont think they sell shrimps but they do have a fish tank there and turtles. I'd call them to double check.
Most of the times they do but I'd call them to make sure.
They do for sure. Inventory varies so call for what's there and pricing. They are a wealth of knowledge and always help with any issues. Highly recommend!
Black Friday Deal! Black Friday is almost here! From the day after Thanksgiving forward, and pet purchased from us in full will get free boarding until Christmas Eve. This gives you plenty of time to get its supplies and habitat ready and surprise that special person this holiday season!
Sometimes. Call them to find out.
Did the vet state that was the problem and cause? Or did one of the staff at the east Bay vivarium state that was the cause? It's usually a temp and humidity issue. The vet can treat or the staff may assist with answers
I go there for the arachnids. I hear a little on snakes: frozen thaw but when I was growing up it was live food. Call them they will be happy to help you.
Hi Milo. I also love tortoises. They do, and they are pretty pricey. The cheapest one I have seen there is over $200.
Yes
Yes as of the last time I was there
Not as of the last time I was there. Maybe a garden center?
Yes. I bought one in August 2020. Best rat I ever had, smartest, most affectionate, runs on wheel at least 4 hours a day, very athletic. Can escape from almost any cage so be careful. Chewed through plastic container used for dogs & cats in a few minutes when a baby.
Some tolerate it and some may even like the warmth of your skin, but many will never be used to being held (by what is essentially a giant predator).
Depends on type, different prices. Also, sizes and age will be different prices. To be exact and know if they're even in stock, you will have to call.
I could take it.
It’s a life cycle
Only for cheetah geckos.
About $599
I saw two smaller ones in stock when I was in the shop last week. Didnt check the price though but that orange and black is unmissable
50 dollars for a baby 100-150 for an adult. Around 10 bucks more if you want a red leatherback beardie
The vivarium does have exotic lizards along with snakes. You can check with them about permits or required laws.
You need to call the store.
I believe that when I was there last they had only captive breed tortoises, but its worth checking to make sure.
I haven't seen a uromastyx there at any of my visits.
Yes, but availability is inconsistent.
Yes...call them to confirm.
I think youd have to call the store? But if gouve already bought it, its kind of late to question authenticity? They do deal in a large number of reptiles so id assume they know what theyrr selling
I didn't see any. I'd call to inquire.
Probably. They seem to have everything...and if they don't have it, I'm sure they can get it for you.
Zoo Med Repti Calcium w/ D3 Reptile supplement.
