Catfish was fried to perfection. CRISPY fillets, with just the right amount of oil. OMGosh, and those hushpuppies!!! The free tomato relish was so good, I would have paid for it (and I did, for a jar to take home)! 🔥

Catfish, hushpuppies, Coleslaw, steaks, burgers were at our table. Everyone had an empty place and a smile on their face. The staff was on another level. Big city restaurants should come take notes. May I add this is the ONLY restaurant I have ever been to that gave my 2 year Olds food a chance too cool off before they have it to him. If I ever come back through here I will fill up on catfish on my way through.

4 of 5; the prices are a tad steep for a diner of its kind. I do not eat tartar sauce because I prefer tasting fish. The catfish was delicious without having being overly flaky and the breading held very tightly to the fish. Not once did we bite into a mudcat which often happens at smaller diners of this kind. The french fries were nicely done and not hard or too crunchy. We loved the key lime pie but it is so thick you will feel full quickly. The chocolate lava cake was rich, moist and delicious. This is a kid friendly place which is a very important factor for us; we have a 7 year old and an 3 year old. I recommend this place to catfish lovers. We will.most definitely be going back.
