Edwin Gomez
good thing I read the reviews as to logging in at 8am. I got on the website at 8am Wednesday after refreshing the page I saw openings for Friday I took the 8am appt. got there 20 mins before did my paperwork for my passport online had everything ready and by 8:40am I was on my way home. the only bad part is that is supposed to take 5-6 months to receive my passport. advice have your DPI number in handy while setting your appt. , fill out the forms online before your appt and have your old passport/DPI and things should go smooth. treated like going to the DMV.

In emergency cases, the Consulate grants a document called SPECIAL TRAVEL PASS, which is ONLY used to leave the United States and enter Guatemala. In order to grant this document, you must be interviewed and bring an identification document from Guatemala and your direct flight itinerary to Guatemala without stopovers. This document is delivered the same day and has no cost. Any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Call Center 1 844 805 1011, or 909 572 8800 ext. 9000.

Jesus, I made the appointment on a Thursday and the official website of the consulate was only available for 15 minutes from 9 to 9:15 am. In addition, I have been waiting for almost 5 months for my passport to be delivered, take that into account when making any request for documents. It is the sad reality of our Guatemala and its public employees !!!!!
You have to call on Thursday only from 8 to 9 and then appointments run out because the same thing happened to me, I struggled a lot until it was personal to find out
They will never answer the phone, make the appointment online if you can or wait they open one
Because they are very busy you have to try many times.
They do not answer by phone, only in the Guatemalan consulate. Com
It costs them to answer. But if you already have an appointment, they will call you one day before your appointment and also send you a text message to remind you of your appointment. For passport 1 money order of $ 65.00 For consular registration 1 money order of $ 25.00 If you already have your IPR, you do not need a birth certificate. And if you occupy one there they give it to you.
On Facebook talk to them friend if they are attending there they make your appointment
They are to serve us not to treat us badly. Education Mr. Vargas already have enough pressure to be by earning us here Uno's sweaty cents well as for ill-treatment. We want kindness, courtesy and politeness. See if all work there q can become your Paisano's.

If only on Thursdays at 9 in the morning pk it lasts only 5 minutes open to make an appointment I hope this information will be useful
Guatemala .. it is only the staff that is not trained for such work.

The CUI. if you can request it here at the consulate, but you need to bring your recent record, and you must have the CUI. if you do not have it. You have to wait until you have it, then you can request your passport.

Saludos cordiales,
For the passport process you only need to present your IPR, or a birth certificate made by Renap, which has a CUI No. and no more than 6 months after it was issued. The renewal of the passport can be done 06 months before it expires.

Well the process must be the same, if you were born in Guatemala, then you have to have the birth certificate and it has to be recent, you also have to have the CUI if you do not have it you have to apply first, after requesting it, then you can take your passport. All this information is in the consulate, but so you do not waste time and will not go for pleasure, then take these documents and go. I hope you serve this information.
Hi. Yes, it has to be recent, it also has to have the CUI. if you do not have it, you have to process it first, after you receive it, then you can process your passport, without the CUI you can not do the process, but if you already have it, you can do so as long as the minutes are recent, I had to do it like that.
Good morning, to carry out your paperwork, you must present the original DPI or birth certificate issued by RENAP in force (no more than 6 months from the date of printing) and with CUI and passport expired. Remember to make your appointment at http://www.citaconsularguatemala.com/
