I attended La Honda winery for a friend of mines birthday. We had a blast, it was super fun with a great atmosphere. My only complaint is the prices, they were a bit expensive which was a bummer.

We had great fun at a company party here the food was top notch, the wine was excellent and the dessert-making tutorial we did was lots of fun too. Everyone had a great time. We filled about 1/2 of the main floor with 35 people but they have multiple other rooms and areas for bigger parties.

Went there for a friend's wedding, the space was compact but quite comfy and fun. Dunno if they brought this in for just the wedding - but I loved the janky emulated arcade machine with 100's of retro games! (just watch out for the 18+ mahjong games lulz)

Best hotel very nearby is Hotel Nia (200 Independence Dr). Less fun & stylish but even closer are the Holiday Inn Express Redwood City-Central (1836 El Camino Real) or Courtyard by Marriott Redwood City (600 Bair Island Rd).
