I visited John and Zekes a couple of weeks ago. I had a very poor experience. Went to play shuffleboard and was stared down and yelled at by patrons of the bar. As a woman it was scary to be yelled at by a larger man for having a good time with some friends playing shuffleboard and having drinks. The bar staff did not intervene on this, which I felt was a personal responsibility of the bar. The drinks we had were fine, but we did not feel welcomed at this bar.

Love the bar but the patrons are trouble. We went there on a Healdsburg beer bike tour and tired to play shuffle board. However, some locals (we’re from Santa Rosa) said that the shuffle board was their’s and pushed us out in a rather uncivilized fashion. Not to mention they weren’t even near the shuffle board table. I would not recommend this bar for anyone other than locals to Healdsburg as they are not welcoming to folks from outside of the immediate area.
