Banshee used to be one of my favorite spots in Healdsburg, and I was a member for a while. However, they hired a new membership coordinator recently and joined the Foley wine society. The membership coordinator sent me an email demanding that increase my allocations by 260% per year. They have also stopped producing and selling nearly all of the bottles I loved, and started to focus exclusively on Pinot Noir. As you can imagine, with less wine that I enjoy being produced, and a demand to increase my allocations, I wasnt too happy and let the new coordinator know that I didnt want to do so. She immediately responded that my membership was canceled. Alright I guess. Nice way to treat a long time customer.

Banshee has a great location, but otherwise fell short and was the most disappointing part of our trip. No open tables for our reservation, dirty, unprepared, and smallest tastings I have ever had. We paid online for two tastings, which was $40 per person ($80 total), and made a reservation for Sunday Feb 20. When we arrived, the place was packed, 100%. No open seats or tables. The staff said a table was leaving shortly and we would need to wait for them to leave and the staff to clean the table. )We did show up on time for our reservation). The place we were sat was dirty, napkins and crumbs leftover from the prior customers. The server was pleasant, and offered water with our tastings...but never brought it. He said they were all out of their tasting menus and he would have to "wing it". He poured us five tastings each, but each pour was barely 0.5 ounce. In all, that came out to~ 5 ounces of wine for $80; we would have been far better off ordering a bottle instead. At the end of the tasting, the server asked if we had paid online ahead of time, which we had. I was shocked they were not prepared for a reservation, "winged" the tasting, did not know we pre-paid (reservation, remember?), and poured such tiny amounts of wine. I doubt I will visit this location again. It was a very disappointing experience. I hope they pull it together and improve, the place is cute and well decorated and they have a prime location.

Pedro was our server and he was so gracious and kind. And totally on top of it. Educated us on the lines we were drinking and on the surrounding area. Loved our tasting! Wines were terrific!

Comfortable, classy, friendly and informative wine tasting room. Pinot Noir is their featured wine. They do also have Savinon Blanc, Chardonay, Shiraz and Cabernet. Excellent wines

There's a lot of politics with liquor distribution.... it's intended to be that way to increase demand! Come to Healdsburg and try the tasting room and you may find a route in which to get it more readily!
Give them a call. My guess is that vintage is no longer available with all the ownership and distribution changes that have happened since then.
