Could not find carvings because of modern graffiti. Very sad. Tried to find information and the little museum did its best. Here are some photos. The park is very nice and much bigger than the roadside attraction I was expecting.

Indian Cave trail is closed due to road construction, and you can't get to it. Should reopen some time in 2022. There are many other trails to explore. Most are dog friendly, except trail 1 because it is a horse trail. Great experience and can't wait to go back!!

Went for the first time yesterday and camped out over night. Really liked how the tent camping is spaced out and you can either find a spot right off the road or hike in for a more private spot. Was disappointed about the cave being closed off and it’s been 2 years since the flood. They are going to start working on it this fall so they say. Fingers crossed. Other than that I had a really really fun and exciting time here. Can’t wait to come back and check the cave out.

Beautiful park! At least 10 hiking trails, lots of cabins for rent, picnic tables, trailer parks, clean bathrooms all over the place, by Missouri river, horseback riding. An unexpected Christmas in July fair was fun!

Yes! Absolutely stunning
RV sites are some what cramped. But the tent sites are very roomy.
Price is different depending on wether youre using a tent camper or not, but you need a park permit ($25 annual) and campsites are less that $15 a night for tent camping
The caves are still closed as of 6/27/21 and no work has started to repair..... The rest of the park is wide open
