DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! Horrible management! THIS COMPLEX IS NOT SMOKE-FREE (EVEN THOUGH ALL THEIR POSTINGS STATE THAT THEY ARE!) On April 24, 2022, we applied and put a $200 deposit down for unit k108 at Parcwood Apartments in Corona with Valentina Atkison, the leasing director. Unit k108 was a one-bedroom first-floor unit. Our anticipated move-in date was July 2, 2022. On July 1, 2022, we arrived to do a walk-through of k108 with Jessica Victorio, assistant community manager. She confirmed the complex is a smoke-free community. Upon entering k108, we were taken aback by the smell of cigarette smoke. Jessica Victorio was able to get a hold of the regional manager. The regional manager told her we would receive our $200 deposit back since no appropriate units were available for July 2, 2022. We are eligible to receive a refund because: We were promised a smoke-free apartment and were not provided one. There were no available first-floor one-bedroom units for July 2, 2022. On July 12, 2022, we received a 'Deposit Disposition' notice by mail. In this disposition, there is a unit number that we have never agreed upon, A111, and a Lease Start date of July 23, 2022, which we also never agreed to. The disposition stated that we would not be receiving our $200 deposit back. They have given excuses of why they will not give our deposit back. The bottom line is they are unorganized management! The way we were treated is disgraceful! THIS COMPLEX IS NOT SMOKE-FREE (EVEN THOUGH ALL THEIR POSTINGS STATE THAT THEY ARE!)

I noticed many of the negative reviews for Parcwood Apartments are due to one-off, bad experiences that aren't reflective of the complex as a whole, so I wanted to give an honest overall assessment of Parcwood. I really like living at Parcwood! My apartment is spacious and has decent appliances. The staff is friendly, although there seems to be a high turnover rate since I keep seeing new faces in the office. Maintenance is extremely fast, as they've done every request I've submitted within 48 hours. They've also been doing renovations over the past year that have really improved the feel of Parcwood, at the minor cost of some noise disturbances, but they haven't bothered me too much. The only legitimate issue that I've seen in other reviews is that parking is a bit troublesome. Parking is extremely limited, and since they only give each apartment 1-2 reserved spots, it's not uncommon to have to park almost a block away from your apartment. I personally don't mind the walk, but you may feel differently. Overall, I'd recommend Parcwood. If you tour here, you get exactly what you see.

Would not recommend even trying to inquire about leasing a unit here. Throughout a few weeks I have called, emailed, and inquired online about a unit I wanted to lease. Finally after several attempts to contact the office, the lady let me know that I would be sent a link to apply and reserve the unit and would follow up with me on a question I had. I never received any link or response for an answer to my simple question. I understand if they may be understaffed or may forgot one day, but it is also important to understand and consider that high demands and volatile rent rates are extremely impactful to a person’s livelihood. Will acknowledge that the leasing agent was very respectful and professional through the tour and phone call we had, just wish she followed through.

I have been living here for about 7 months or so. Here is my experience so far. 1. The laminated flooring was damaged prior to us moving in. There was a lot of indent marks on the floor from the previous Tennant's furniture. We had informed them of this and they stated they can not do anything for us but make sure its documented so we don't get charged upon move out. We will see if they try and charge us upon move out. 2. The fridge has had to get fixed twice. It emitted a very loud noise during the night on two separate incidents. It still makes sounds every so often that it doesn't bother us anymore. 3. The gate has been broken for over a few months now. 4. upon entering the apartment complex you will notice none of the lights on the garage ports are working until you curve right on the road. It is really dark in the entrance and that can be very dangerous. It has been like that for months as well. 6. My laundry was stolen after leaving it for couple hours. Some might say, why would you leave your laundry un attended? Well when its 110 degrees outside with no AC in that room and I have a chronic lung disease. I am not able to stay out that long in those terms. 7. Guest Parking is horrible. If you come home after 4, you will have no guest parking. The Tenants park in guest parking since the parking for guest are closer to their home. I stated this to management and nothing was done about it. 8. The trees are damaging the vehicles. 9. There has been an abandoned vehicle in front of my place longer than i have even been here. Many people have complained to the office that the vehicle needs to be towed. Since I moved in they have ticketed the car 4 times. I am sure there are living creatures in that car for how long its been sitting there as well. The car is still there and has not been towed. 10. A lady next door had a mother who was an alcoholic that came to my door late hours of the night asking to use my restroom since she was locked out of her daughters place. Another occasion she came to my door at midnight so I can call 911 for her. The police and ambulance were already there earlier that day for her. I still called for her. Her daughter one night came to my door and warned me that she had just been jumped earlier that day and the attackers knew where she lived. The overall experience here has been a nightmare. Even though some of my experience was out of the managements hands. We will not be renewing our contract and we hope you think twice before you sign a contract here. I feel like I am living in the ghetto, which should not be the case.
