This spot is great for all occasions. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night grub. I strongly appreciate them for being opened 24hrs. I love the Dominican vibe and they serve food with love. My go to order is Mangu with the Tres Golpes. They also make great sandwiches, have great soups (I love the sopa de pollo) and the lasagna is fantastic. This place has real home cooked Dominican food, you could never go hunger as long as theyβre around. ππ½

NEVER AGAIN!! First off I'm Dominican, so i know spanish food. I ordered Carne Frita con Tostones and got over-cooked burnt old meat. The lady was nice over the phone, but they hold on to expired food. Greed over the health of your customers is not good. Please throw away your expired meat, and fire the cook who over cooks food. After eating two pieces it went in the garbage, tried 1 with lime & 1 regular, and still tasted like stale rocks both tries... Good luck eating here

La Barca has delicious food. It's located not too far from NY Presbyterian Hospital so it's perfect to grab lunch for yourself or someone you might be visiting in the hospital. The place is small but clean. They have alot of dividers up due to COVID. The lady who was attending me was perfect. She took my order exactly, verified what i wanted, asked a few questions and packed up my order with no issues. The food was so good. I got a soup, pata de vaca. Delicious. I also got a half chicken, white rice, beans and salad. The chicken was not dry at all. The rice was nice and fluffy. The beans were tasty. The salad was good and it was seasoned for me. Overall this place is really good. I was attended well, the food was delicious and the price was right. I can't wait to visit this place again. I highly recommend it.

My sister and I were looking for a Dominican breakfast while visiting NY Presbyterian hospital. Saw La Barca was nearby with good ratings and figured we'd try it out. Ordered mangu con los tres golpes and we were not disappointed. Mangu was not dry as sometimes can be. Coffee was on point, too. Small neighborhood eatery with a counter and about 6-8 additional seats. Everyone coming in knew each other and it made me smile to be a NYer.

They do catering but each pernil is $45, small rice is $25, don't know about the beans though. Ordered pernil, rice, and tostones, DELICIOUS.
We wash our hands often with soap and water; use hand sanitizer and use one of our 5 hand sanitizing machines available for our employees. While also having 2 sanitizing stations for customers. We wear a face mask and gloves, while maintaining 6 feet apart our customers and ourselves. We avoid large groups, only accepting 4 or 5 customer inside the location. We take employees temperature everyday before they start working. We clean and disinfect all areas on all 3 shifts. While using gloves, we staple all delivery's bags to insure nothing goes in it. Also, we have a glass window through-out the entire business to protect the food and our employees from anything passing through the other side were the food is and our area to prepare the orders.
They only do delivery before 12am..
