The head nurse that took my temperature was really rude, I would ask her the simple questions and she would give me attitude. I had asked her for a mask and it’s was like I had ask her to make me a mask, she was very bothered by my request of asking for a mask. Very unprofessional.

I recommend Med-East Clinic when in need of a diagnosis or quick medical treatment. The medical and administrative staff are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. My only constructive criticism is implementation of a better system to reduce idle wait time. This could include adding additional medical staff or giving an estimated wait time after screening and registration.

The receptionist I dealt with today (4-18-21) was beyond rude and unprofessional and shouldn't even be pushing papers in a medical office! The last thing a sick person wants to deal with is a ignorant person with no bed side manner. Please work on re training your staff on how to conduct themselves professionally because they are severely lacking in that field!

I'm disgusted by the experience I just had at this walk in. I understand the lengthy wait because they don't know to how to use the new computer system. I understand that all of my information in their system was old and outdated due to the switch to Hartford Healthcare records. What I can't understand is going to the walk in complaining of persistent fevers... And not only did the nurse (Krystal) neglect to take my temperature, but she wrote a random one down instead and lied to the doctor about it. And I don't understand why the doctor didn't believe me when I told him what happened. He was too focused on judging me for my lifestyle choices to hear what I was telling him. He berated me to the point where I cried. He forgot I was in the room- and since the walls are thin, I could hear him laughing about it in the next room. He asked me the same generic questions several times because he didn't bother to listen to my answers. The ladies behind the front desk were the best part of the experience... They were kind and friendly and apologetic. Not only will I never use that walk in again, but I'm going to tell everyone who will listen to choose a different walk in for medical services. Hartford Healthcare has absolutely ruined this practice.
