A separate parking area for RVs is great! Stayed 1 night, slept like a baby. Very convenient right off the highway but quieter than most rest stops.

Great big open space and nice picnicking areas, but the bathroom floor was completely wet.

Great place to stop right after leaving Waterbury headed East to get straight before a long journey home!

Let's start with everything that is wrong with this place. It's not 24/7 so you will have to use Porta potty after 3:30pm. The vending machines out of order. The restrooms are out of date and are dirty and smell horrible. The hands dryers while super hot don't even dry. The only thing good about this place is lots of parking and a great area to walk around. And some benches to sit on.

The rest area itself is open nd there port-o-potties available.for use when the building itself is closed. After 3pm daily
Yes. They have a separate large area that prohibits trucks. Motorhomes and campers are ok. It is away from the highway so it is fairly quiet. The rest area building is open 8am - 3pm daily. Otherwise, portalets must be used. The dump station is open spring, summer, and fall - but not in winter.
You may be able to sleep in your vehicle overnight, but the services here are very limited.
No, they close at a certain time pretty early, but you can use Porto Potty outside.
It is closed from 3PM. till 8AM. PM. The bathrooms have been clearly remodeled recently, but were unsuccessful in removing the rust stains and peculiar odors. Vending machines are half empty, despite having short hours, and the highest prices I have seen. If you miss the short hours of operation, there are porta potties available to you in poorly lighted areas for your convenience. A quick Google search will show you the state of Connecticut rest areas, and yes they are planning to shut them down this year. Good Luck, and remember Connecticut Welcomes You!
