Barry Borowitz the lawyer handling my case was amazing. However my one interaction with Clark was disappointing. Clark was rude, abrasive and disrespectful to the facts I provided when he claimed paperwork had not been submitted by me. The fact was it had been submitted and his staff either hadn't scanned it or misplaced it. I had to Infact, send it in 3 times before it was finally included. The office seemed to prefer emails to phone calls and often times emails weren't sent or weren't received. But then I would get a follow up email asking g why I hadn't responded. Office administrators were also rude or.disrespectful at times. Overall glad they were there to help. Couldn't have done it without them. Just with they were less rude. Staff was very frustrating to work with. Barry Borowitz was friendly and explained many of the hurtles I would face. However, on several occasions I had to call in and the administrators assigned to my case were rude Or unhelpful. I would receive emails that were followup to emails I never received. The email would state they had notnjerd from me or they needed something from me, but either I had already submitted what they needed or I never got the request in the first place. The other lawyer Clark, who I had.to meet when I needed.to make a payment and had questions, was rude, disrespectful and argumentative. Even accusing me of failing to provide documents that were requested. But I had given everything that was asked for in a stack that he office administrators lost. I had.to resubmit it all. But he was so rude about it.

Questions & Answers

What is the difference between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13?

Chapter 7 is often referred to as “liquidation” bankruptcy because filers may lose some of their property and assets. Persons who file for Chapter 7 have little to ability to repay debts in the future. Chapter 13 is nicknamed “reorganization” bankruptcy because it allows debts to reorganize their debt burdens and payment schedules. This requires the debtors to propose a repayment plan.

What is the debt consolidation process like?

Borowitz & Clark, LLP | Aug 24, 2020

Debt consolidation can mean a number of things. However, it is most commonly used to describe a debt consolidation loan. This means you will be working with a lender to take out a personal loan and pay off all of your debts at once. Then, you will only have to worry about paying off the loan. That is why it is referred to as consolidating your debt.

I just started working again, can I file chapter 13 this year, if I did not file income taxes for 2017 & 2016 because I was not employed?
