Positives and negatives on this campground. Good for kids and activities. Pools, playgrounds, volleyball, mini golf, etc all good for family activities. Check in was fast. Clean bathrooms Negatives for us seniors: Lots of noise Uneven and potholes roads $63 site got us: no sewer no cable shared water no existing internet awkward dumping station on exit old and warped picnic tables

Friendship Village was without question the cleanest campground I have encountered camping with my family. Been camping for nearly 40 yrs. They maintain everything impeccably and their bathrooms are cleaned spotless every couple hours. Never seen anything like it. sites are well planned and roomy enough to be comfortable. Fire rings are huge circular concrete in great shape, but bring an extra long grate for cooking over (their camp store sells them also for about $17 which is comparable to Walmart and others considering the size) They have a huge attentive staff that works diligently all the time to keep their campers happy and the grounds beautiful. Programs and activities for the kids, and a ton of stuff to do with playground facilities, and other recreational facilities including an impressive dog park that rivals anything ive seen in some of the nicest residential communities. Everyone there lives up to the namesake of the campground "friendly". The other campers are also friendly and I think it's a by-product of the atmosphere they create. Three beautiful ponds set the scene and you can fish in one or two of them. My grandkids never ran out of things to do and were never bored. Mini golf course course was taken care of, not like some that aren't maintained, and the pools were a huge hit and we'll kept. Two camp stores with reasonable prices, and firewood was a great deal compared to prices at other campgrounds we've been to. It made having a campfire not feel like you were being robbed to do so. Would we come back or recommend to others??? That is a big big affirmative!
