Beautiful location inside and out. We ate in the candlelit dining room and loved the atmosphere. Our food arrived quickly. Large, delicious portions! Pictured is chicken parmigiana with roasted cauliflower, and the fried haddock sandwich with onion rings, and a side salad. Not pictures but also enjoyed the portabella sandwich and baked potato. Friendly staff. I wish I could give it more stars!

We've eaten here a few times over the past couple of years and always had a great experience. Service is friendly and food is always delicious. I prefer the atmosphere of the tavern but the downstairs dining room is nice too. If you're in the tavern, ask to see the ghost sightings binder. They have photos and stories of customer and staff experiences in the building. I've never stayed in the upstairs rooms but they did allow us to go up and see them when we were there on a quiet weekday (they were all vacant at the time). They're gorgeous and we definitely want to stay sometime! Be sure to buy a bag of goat feed at the little cabin out back and feed the goat on the other side of the parking lot!

Tried Jean Bonnet Tavern for the first time and the food was awesome! I got a dish from their March menu, which was a pork tenderloin dish with apple brandy sauce - the sauce was so tasty and the pork was cooked perfectly. I also got the Bailey coffee cheesecake that was also on the March menu. Both of these items were amazing - I can't wait to see what they will have on the non-permanent menu next time. Also, I really liked the characteristics of the original building - it really adds to the ambiance. The service wasn't great but it wasn't bad either - we suspected our server was new.

Wow, the history caught our attention and the food was awesome. Best French Dip ever..you can see it was devoured before I thought about taking a picture. Every slice was tender, the topping was tasty and smooth. Seasoned sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The water was cold and properly tasteless. My wife loved the lobster and shrimp with bread appetizers for her meal. Look...pewter plates and a great ambiance! Our server was friendly and polite. Local groups were thre and loving their visits. One group was about 20 former telephone operators who gather somewhere each month for decades. A memorable meal!

Are you open for indoor dining and if so what is your hours of business?
Please call the restaurant. I have no idea.
Jean, as in blue jean and bonnet is pronounced the French way, so the "et" at the end is an "A" sound! "Bon-a" I hope this helps 😀
