Drove 45 mins to find out the growing trend on nature trails... Being Anti-dog. Wanted to take my sweet boy for a nice leashed nature walk before he had to go in for surgery and not be able to enjoy walks for awhile... So many places that dont want you dog to enjoy their short lives in nature. Wont be coming back... specially when there's closer places that are honestly nicer settings...

Nice lake for fishing, kayaking, canoeing I've also seen people on paddleboards or maybe you could just take a walk on the beautiful trail, or have a picnic or dig for fossils at the fossil pit or visit the environmental center, it's a nice quiet place just to relax.

Nice meeting and event space. Didn't get to tour the educational exhibits, but they had an extensive collection of bird mounts that was cool to see.
