Per the request of Murray Motors asking to post a review, I am sharing our experience. We brought our vehicle in for two issues with our AC system. One issue was resolved with charging the AC. The other issue was a consistent rattling when idling, as well as stopped in drive. We received a call that the car was done, but that they could not replicate the rattling, and to come get it. We were told that we would have to make another appointment because the technicians all left at 5:00pm on the phone. We drove to pick it up, started the car, and it immediately made the “rattling” noise. When we asked the service assistant to come outside to listen to the noise, she was very nasty. All of the garage bay doors were open so I asked if a technician could come take a listen quick-she shared “I told you they all left at 5:00”. After we shared our concern that the vehicle consistently makes the noise she said she would be back. A technician came out, told us to pop the hood, shared what he thought it was within a few moments. Both staff were very short and off putting. We are understanding that sometimes a technician may not be able to replicate an issue that a customer has with their vehicle. However, poor customer service, and unprofessional communication is not acceptable.

I am very frustrated. For over two years we have taken the car in and asked them to address a problem with the car shifting hard and bucking. In January we had to have the car towed to the garage at a cost of $200 and the throttle was replaced on 2019 Ford Explorer with 65,000 miles. On April 30 we picked up our Explorer after reporting a problem with shifting hard and bucking as part of the inspection. On May 1 I drove the car one block from our home and the service warning came on and the car jerked when I placed in reverse to back up the drive. Unacceptable to have this happen after we just had vehicle serviced and they claimed they could not replicate the problem. It will now need to be towed again.

We have been customers of Murray Motors Ford in Muncy for over 14 years. They truly treat their customers well. They are respectful, considerate and have backed the vehicles they sell, new or used. We have gone to other dealers in the area and were incredibly disappointed at the lack of professionalism. We will only do business with Murray Motors from now on.
