What an amazing place to stay! We were doing a road trip along the lake and came across this place. The history was so cool and the suite we were given was clean and very comfortable We had dinner on the pario and the food was very good as well..Thanks to Brenda for a great evening!

Stumbled upon this gem for a delicious romantic dinner with a beautiful view. The grounds are immaculately kept the tables were pristine and the service was top notch. Highly recommend this place for supper.

Went for mother's day brunch and the food had a lot of room for improvement. The staff was amazing, the location and views were spectacular. The asparagus was enormous which normally wouldn't be an issue, but they weren't peeled and the woody ends were still attached. The Mac n cheese tasted as if they cooked pasta and just tossed a bit of shredded cheese and mixed it, very dry. The pork loin was bland and over cooked. The breakfast foods were very good, but the kitchen definitely needs some help.

Went for Easter brunch. Venue is beautiful and the location is beautiful but its a shame that its being so under utilized. Some of the furniture was mismatched, the buffet was haphazardly put together, and the music was so quiet you couldn't hear it, the plates and coffee cups were also dirty. Also what was odd was there was no silverware at the table, and really no decoration. It was almost as if they took an old building, put some tables it, and said "looks good to me". As for the food, it was a huge disappointment. The water was plastic cups (self serve) the coffee was watered down (also self serve) and the orange juice was you guessed it... watered down and for some reason came with ice cubes? The eggs were gray for some reason, the pork tenderloin was chewy and room temperature, and the servers were rationing it at best. When I asked for tenderloin and salmon I was given a discouraged look and served portions that were no larger than a credit card. The onions that were added to the store bought packaged salad were also no longer good. As for desert, they had rock hard cookies and cake that actually wasn't bad. If the owners even remotely knew what they were doing they would've had proper food, a proper setup, and proper beverage, but as far as Easter brunch goes this was armature hour. It's a shame that this venue isn't being properly utilized because I would've gladly paid $50+ had to food been worth it.
