best bookstore around, if you want to call it *just* a bookstore. in reality, it's the best **media** store around! games, vinyl, books, a wonderful kids' section... we're blessed to have such a place accessible to us in Fremont, where there are fewer and fewer of its like around.

My son loves it. Every week we come here to buy new books. If the store doesn't have book we need, they can ship the book from other store as well. Here you can find some gyfts, cards, puzzles and many other splendid products. Highly recommend.

Right next to Party City, this store has quite a variety of books, all in well maintained conditions for used books. They also sell vinyls, games, and DVDs. Customer service was nice and atmosphere is chill.

Half Price Books is a small chain. All of the stores have a similar setup, inventory, and atmosphere.

Quite strict. You have to walk only in the directions indicated between the shelves. Same while entering and leaving the stores. There are sanitizers available at the entrance. Social distancing should always be maintained and masks must be worn.

Best to call for particular items. On the other hand browsing randomly you may stumble upon someting else very good if you have the time.
Plus they can always refer you or place an order. There is another used book store just down the road on Shattuck as well.
