If there was an award for the worst optometrist ever this guy would win. My grandma is visiting from Mexico and she doesn’t speak any english. From the first few minutes the exam started he was getting irritated that she wasn’t setting her face in the right position to get a good look at her eyes. Once he was trying to get her prescription he said she was going back and forth between the lenses and wasn’t paying attention. He yelled at her “No!” saying she wasn’t right. He asked “Does she not speak any english?” in an angered voice and I said no. Mind you I was there to translate for her and he would interrupt me knowing she wouldn’t understand anything he said. He yelled at her a few more times when he tried looking at her eyes with the laser bright light. Her eyes would wander and he’d say “look at my ear! look at my ear!”. He ended the exam there out of frustration. He gave me the prescription like nothing happened and acted all cool. We won’t be using the prescription because who knows if it’s even right. Unfortunately I was more emotionally distressed than my grandma and couldn’t bring about what happened before crying. I truly wish I could’ve spoke up sooner and not bothered Walmart because this man has nothing to do with them. He was also very rude to the employee who tried getting our refund.

The optometrist was extremely rude. I was on time, but not 15 mins early for paperwork. He acted like it was a big deal. He was short with me and and said my eyesight hasn't changed in two year so why get an exam anyway. Worst optometrist I have ever had in all of the years I have worn glasses.

If I could say zero stars, I would. Their optometrist was not only way off with my prescription, but didn't even have all the different lens strengths to switch between when doing the exam! They said I was 1.50 and I'm 1.00 both eyes! The doctor at one of the locations was busted for fraud I believe. Believe he lied about his credentials and really wasn't qualified!

Dr John Wellwood OD was probably the best eye DR I have ever seen. The cost of lenses is too high. But for the eye exam everything was perfect.

You wait for them to come in.

Do you have to make an appointment to have an eye exam or can you just walk in and have one?

Walk ins are allowed only when there is room. It is best to call ahead and make an appointment, especially if you have vision insurance.

Do they take o.h.p?
