Even though I thought I was entering Pawn shop, I was pleassntly surprised to see they are more of a music store than a Pawn shop. I play Trumpet in a Symphonic band and forgot to bring my trumpet with me. I had a concert in 4 days. They had a quality instrument for me in good working order that allowed me be ready for my concert. The store owner helped me in choosing the best instrument for my needs.

Quite honestly, this place is everything anyone could hope for in a local music shop. I came in looking for a replacement head to refurbish a banjo that a friend had kindly gifted me. Kyle [serendipitous name coincidence] was expertly knowledgeable, discussed some options with me, and helped me settle on exactly what I needed. They also have a gorgeous inventory of banjos that I thoroughly enjoyed gawking at. I will certainly be back - thank you! *First pic is some of Buy & Sell's banjo inventory, and the second is my refurbished banjo.

Another part of what makes Eugene. I'm a very amateur musician, but what I have has been fueled by instruments from Buy & Sell. I've followed them through three different locations in Eugene. I picked up the ukulele over the pandemic. Someone gave one of my kids a cheap uke and I gave it a try. For my birthday, I wanted to get a concert size. They were really helpful letting me try out their assortment and I could really tell the difference in the more expensive ones. I ended up getting the cheapest one (still a great instrument for a beginner) because I felt that was what I could afford. Then I got home and remembered that I could trade in the saxophone I got there years ago when they were on 5th Street. I called them and they said come on in. I was able to upgrade to a much nicer ukulele.

Good selection of instruments, including mandolins. Nice staff. Good prices. We bought a great mandolin here this week.

Steve gonna be shredding on that mandolin!
We are open for business as usual, Wear a mask please.
Sorry we only buy and sell them.
I saw mostly entry level guitars no basses
They do not restring guitars. They can help you figure out if you can put nylon strings on your guitar.
No they don't, they specialize in instruments. I dont think I've seen CDs there other than inside a lesson book.
