This place is beautiful! Gary is delightful and makes AWESOME breakfast treats! The beds were comfortable and the place was exceptionally clean. The two St Bernards, Henry and Helen were a special treat. Gary even went out of his way to pack our breakfast muffins in a box to take with us, as we were checking out early. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Gary for everything!

This bucolic getaway is highly recommended, not only for the comfortable rooms and breathtakingly beautiful landscape, but owner Gary can meet any need you may have! Each morning he cooks up a mouth-watering home-style breakfast in the country kitchen, and even delivered coffee to our door even before breakfast! Gary was flexible and gracious about meeting all the needs of our party, and everything about our stay was perfect. I would also recommend Mountain Brook Inn as a venue for weddings and other special gatherings. The landscaping is especially beautiful with the gazebo at the end of the field. At night the footbridge across the brook is lit with twinkling lights, and the entire scene was magical.

There are places that are good for the soul and settle in your heart. This is one of them. The attentive accommodations and quaint setting is restful, peaceful and restoring. Gary is a wonderful host who makes every person feel special and welcomed.
