Great little piece of stateland however it's not meant to have atvs on it so don't try to ride there. Forest rangers are aware and cracking down on it. There's always trash at the end of the lane. Used to be very clean now people abuse it and have turned the sides of the roads into mud pits for their atvs and other offroad vehicles along with the trails in the woods. I've met many people on horseback on some trails and some of the rock formations are cool to look at.

This forrest has potential. Unfortunately the locals use the park as a dumping ground and it also seems to be the spot to do drugs with your girlfriend. I like to try some of these smaller areas to hunt in. In this park I have seen a few deer, been checked out by DEC twice, ran into a couple that were looking for a place to get high and seen plenty of household garbage. There are not too many hunters in this park especially during early and late seasons but I have seen more DEC officers then deer.
