I totally recommend Ajo Bikes. I rode my bike a lot over the years and the crank and some other parts were worn out. I was going to attempt to replace the worn parts but decided I didn’t want to nor did I have the right tools. I dropped the bike off at Ajo Bikes, they had a back log of work so it took just over a week to get the bike back. I went to pick it up, prepared to see a bill over a hundred dollars, to my amazement the cost was way less than I expected. I got a like new bike for a fraction of the cost of a new bike. The staff were polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I will continue to use the service when I need it, and there is a great availability of parts at a reasonable price. Don’t think about it, if you need a repair, take it to Ajo Bikes!!! Don Harp

My husband I are repeat customers of this locally owned full service bike shop. I recently had a situation where I needed extra help for a very stressful incident. Ajo bikes (Chris, Nick & Brian) went above and beyond to help me. This is a very busy shop but, in my opinion, but I have no problem waiting for help because I know the service will be worth the wait. Thank you Ajo Bikes!

Had a full tune-up + new brakes/rotors for my mountain bike ~$400. Everything was great until 6 months later when my front brake developed rotor noise and I noticed a loose caliper mount and overhanging brake pad wear pattern. When I brought it in they sold me a new rotor. I pointed out that the cup washers were still loose and was told that was normal (???). They couldn't fix the noise after 2 tries so I left. Long story short I figured it out at another shop. Turns out Ajo had installed the new brakes with incorrect spacing (overhanging pads) and flipped the bolts (bottomed out bolt, loose). I fixed the front brakes. Similar spacing problem on the rear (see photos). It was sloppy, and I'm bummed about it. Edit: had an good conversation with the owner Brian Newbrey and felt heard. I appreciate them reaching out to me.

Very helpful place!! If you are into bike riding or looking for an accessory piece for your bike this is the place to go. These workers really know what they are doing. Good prices if you're looking to add a basket to your bike. They did such a wonderful job getting my bike fixed up to be my dream bike! Couldn't have asked for anything better!

I had what they call no flat tube from there. It's not solid tubing but helps from the thongs. With labor and parts they charged $40.00.

They carry new mtn bikes that will run you a few hundred more. They have some bikes on consignment that they might be able to do the trick for you. Best bet is to stop by the shop to see what they have currently!

Ajo Bike has something for everyone
We sell all bike related parts. Yes the chain is one of those. The heavy duty chains run $14 and you need to purchase 2 for it to be long enough for most of the bikes. They each come with a master-link. If you need extra master links that run between $2 and $3.
