I stayed here last night with my boyfriend for his Birthday due to all other hotels and motels in the area being booked up and boy am I happy we ended up here. It was our first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast. I didn’t really know what to expect at all. It was a very nice place it had a vintage feel to it just very cozy and lovely. The owner Kathy was very sweet and welcoming. We went in the pool and the hot tub which was so nice and relaxing! We ended up leaving quite a bit past check out due to our ride being late , so hopefully Kathy will let us stay again one day. I also did not get to say thank you , because I didn’t see Kathy when we were leaving. If you see this Thank you so so much for a wonderful night Love , Madison and James :)

It was our second visit for my wife and I. We also invited some friends of ours to joined us during the 4th of July weekend. Our first visit was phenomenal and it was an experience that was breathtaking. So making a second visit was necessary towards the wonderful family of Dominion House Bed and Breakfast. From their hospitality onto the breakfast was soothing and rejuvenating. If anyone is seeking a quick getaway from the heart of NYC, I recommend making a reservation at Dominion House Bed & Breakfast. You will enjoy the scenery with love and relaxation. Charles

My stay at Dominion House was truly delightful. The cottage was roomy, well-equipped, airy and comfortable. We enjoyed our refreshing dip in the pool on a hot, humid afternoon and devoured our fresh from the oven scones, muffins, waffles and fresh berries for breakfast. Even though Joe and Kathy are my relatives, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Dominion House to anyone , which I have for years. Try it---you'll be hooked!

We chose it simply because it is very close to Stewart State Park where we planned to go mountain biking. We had no expectations. But we were so pleasantly surprised to have descended upon a magical, soulful place. The property is breathtaking. Kathy and Joe are the ideal hosts - they take great pride in their homestead, which you feel in all the care they put into the small details, such as homemade scones for breakfast (best I've ever had!) and a fresh cut daisy tucked into the silver napkin ring. But at the same time they are incredibly laid back and practically invisible. They know people want their privacy - they give it without judgment. The pool was wonderful - the perfect temperature (even after a hard rain - I guess it's heated??), clean, and perfect for all types of swimmers because the shallow end is only about 3 feet and the other end is deep enough for diving. It is the quintessential family inn - very rare these days. Highly recommended! We will definitely go back.
