We love it here! It is so peaceful and very relaxing! Tons of parking. You have to wear swim shoes because in some areas in the water there are rocks as well as little se shells on parts of the beach near the water.

It is nice but shells , geese poop and rocks are everywhere, due to shell my9 year old cousin cut her left foot. Water is not clean, if you like tides, then this beach is not for you. Other than nice view . Water is cold also.

Nice spacious state park. Lot of places to barbecue and play in the sand. Trash disposal available. Well maintained restrooms and shower head.

Free for CT residents with CT plate. (You pay for this on your car registration).
Yes just watch the birds. I have watched them snatch food cooking on the grill.
There's a ton of very exotic birds there. Really makes for a beautiful atmosphere
parking can be paid for locally?
I believe all vehicles on a CT plate get in for free, nonCT can get in, but pay during the season (don't know how much)
