Intimate, very cool venue. Saw Quasi and Jon Spencer. The sound was great which is important, I do wish they didn’t design the lights to regularly shine right in the eyes of the audience, it was debilitating haha. Heads up that the bathrooms are under construction (or maybe they’re always like this?) with the shortest toilets I’ve ever encountered. Note, they did not check our vax card upon entry and they have you go through a metal detector.

Intimate. Easy to find. Lots of parking in the area that's free after 9pm. Bar tenders were pretty speedy even though I was there for a sold out show. Security was simple. The venue says they check Vax cards, but that wasn't tru the night I went, masks optional (apr2022). Impressively, the bathroom had toilet paper AND soap.

Sound was great. It was an intimate setting. There was only a couple hundred people there.

Went to go see Meg Myers! The best music venue I have been to. I attended the upstairs room (the lower room is larger). It's small so you are SO close to the performer. The sound setup is also higher end and enjoyable. Lastly, the beer and parking are cheap. So that makes it my fav music venue around LA.

The echo in itself does not offer parking but there is a parking lot right around the corner, there is street parking with parkingmeters
check here: http://www.spacelandpresents.com/events/the-echo/
There's a parking lot in between echo park Ave and Logan. Be careful parking on lemoyne by the church. It's permit parking only.
No worries especially if you're reading nearby
No one will ever answer the phone. I gave up after a couple of weeks
No one checked my bag. It was a small crossbody
A limited amount of tickets might be available for purchase at the door on Sold Out shows. For shows that are not sold out, tickets are available at the door for purchase.
If you're obviously in need of a seat they should help you. If not, get there early. Seating will be limited but available.
if you are trying to actually see the show, you'll want to arrive before the last set of the evening concludes. the set start times are usually posted on social media by the bands/artists performing or by the venue itself. i usually find the bands' start times posted on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook on the day/evening of the show on one of the artists' accounts. it's usually safe to assume that there are breaks between sets.
I don't think they do that, they usually check I.Ds at the door. But you should contact them to be sure.
They can be sold out try Google criaglist..or call there box office

Varies from event to event. $0 to $20 it seems to range.
