Most amazing Italian food ever. Fresh seafood, amazing homemade pasta, out of this world chicken parmigiana. Highly recommended Il Portico for great Italian cuisine and service !

First time here. We almost walked out when we walked in as the smell that hit us was like an old moldy building. We walked in to the one bar area and after seeing the interior I was intrigued and wanted to stay hoping the food was better than the initial impression. We were greeted by a very busy but friendly gentleman. We were seated in a beautiful dining room that had a real fire and the lighting was beautiful. The food came out hot and fairly fast. I had linguini with clams in white wine sauce, probably the best I've ever had. My wife had chicken picatta which she loved.

My mother took me here with a friend before I left town. I had the lobster bisque soup with the New York strip. The soup was delicious and nice and hot and even though I ordered a rare steak and got medium rare it was all so delicious and tender including the sauce. Potatoes were well seasoned as well. The atmosphere is nice as well. Will definitely come back when I’m back in town.

Driving home from a tournament and found this gem. The food was so good. You can tell it is a local favorite. I ordered the gnocchi and couldn’t decide the sauce so the main man (most likely the owner) suggested half and half. I ended up with have four cheese and half pesto and both were great. Lobster bisque soup special was delicious as well along with the red snapper entree my husband got. Very happy we stumbled upon this place! When we come back next tournament season we will definitely stop by! They also had live music that was great while at the same time not at all intrusive to dinner conversation. Highly recommended!
