I've always loved Popeyes but this time the chicken pieces seemed smaller. What I got was not nearly as fresh and juicy as usual. To me the cajon rice isn't so special. I'll go back next time and opt for Red beans and rice.

This used to be a good Popeyes chain location and I never understood the terrible reviews but after my experience with their manager I understood why. In this time, there is no reason to support rude and nasty businesses when there are other businesses that need our support more. I was refused being able to use a Popeyes promo offer, with her claiming it was not a real coupon which I regularly was able to redeem and asked to pull aside out of the drive thru. They could have just communicated that they no longer will accept the offer to be used, that's fine I can pick a different place. At this time I also did not realize they didn't give me my credit card back and I was parked next to the drive through for 15 minutes on a phone call deciding with my family where to get food instead. I drove away to a different location and realized I never received my credit card back. When I came back to get my card, before I could even say anything, the manager started to berate me that I drove away and left my card. Why would I do that purposely? Also I was in the parking lot within view for 15 minutes, you could have brought it to me then if you knew. I also only asked for my card back and said nothing else, and instead of politely just returning it, the manager felt the need to lecture me and look at me like I was below her. You could have just gave it back and said nothing. I can only imagine how she treats her employees as they all looked fearful. Don't support businesses run by nasty people please. I never took a close look at all the recent reviews, but everybody has clearly had a similar experience. The restaurant business is also a customer service industry, she should be fired.

I've never really been a Popeye fan, but had to take advantage of the coupon offering for the 6pc chicken for 2.99, only available at the drive thru. I got the mild and it was nice and crispy and the chicken moist. Better than KFC I have to say. So now I'm a fan. However, still can't say I care for the cajun french fries though. Anyway, for the price it was a great value and delicious. Update 11/7/19 Just waited in line for 20 mins to get their new chicken sandwich. Big crowds, limit 3 sandwiches. Super delicious though. Big, moist, batter crust and bun just right. Better than ChikFilA in my opinion. Priced right too.
