We went at a weird time, 4:30 PM, so naturally we were the only customers there. Our waiter was attentive & friendly. The food was fine, but not spectacular. I ordered a bean burger with Gouda, & I couldn’t taste much of the cheese at all. My husband had the cowboy burger & said it was serviceable. The fries were crispy & slightly burnt, but we didn’t mind. For the two of us, two burgers, and a beer, we spent about $40 with tip. Overall it was a nice experience for hungry people who wanted a burger.

An absolute gem of a place. "Hole-In-The-Wall" meets comfortable and clean. Amazing food, cold beer, and Annie is one of the most sociable and friendly owners we have ever met. We hope to make it back one day when we come back to NY. So go say "HI" for us until we can! You won't regret it.

My husband and I were looking for a local spot with great wings, awesome drinks and we found it! I was our first first time and we ordered a Mango Mojitos to start. They were delicious and strong. My husband ordered wings as usual and I had to try one. They were cooked to perfection! I had cowboy tacos and they were amazing. The service was great. We will definitely be back.

I've been here several times and it's always a pleasure. Top notch food, staff and prices. This is real food made by real people and it is worth every penny. If by chance there is the rare occurrence of any issues the staff is always more than willing to rectify those issues. On my most recent trip I had one of the best burgers I've ever had, cooked perfectly and exactly the way I ordered it. The bartender was doing double duty on this Saturday afternoon(1/8) as the server too and they were outstanding. I highly recommend A Better Place for good food, good drinks and great company.
