Would give 0 stars if possible, Cox use to be a respectable ISP. Depending where you live this will be hit or miss and there is no way of knowing until it is too late. Cox holds monopoly on customers in a lot of areas because of this they do not have to prioritize customers. I have hands down had the worst internet experience ever. Cannot get a good connection on a wired ethernet connection in the middle of the San diego where internet should be great. Have had 7 or so people from cox come out to help but information is never communicated so the process is always started over and over again with no progress made. At this point I give up and would have switched long ago If I had the option. Remember to report Cox to the FCC when they abuse customers like this.

They know they have a monopoly on ISP so they can treat the customer however they want. If you have another option go there, even if its a smaller ISP better to give them your money.

My friend was forced to sign a 36 month business contract to get an affordable 105 a month rate for a lousy 50 mb speed and then didn't move in the office due to COVID. Now they are ruthlessly want $5,000 for early termination and he never even used service. They are the timeshare co of internet service!

Cox is full of tricksters they offer the greatest deal then your bill will go up in a month. You will spend several hours of your time getting bounced around without resolve. Most of the reviews here must be written by Cox people that got lucky or are paid to right a decent review. Good luck if you choose Cox services!
