The gym is awesome and the workout area is legit, but the mens shower stalls smell like rotten fish and mold Everytime. Scrub the walls if guys are doing that, why does it smell like rotten fish? So weird. Almost every other location in the area doesn’t have this problem. Other than that it’s 100% legit.

Extremely disappointed as usual because my "unlimited" black card membership never books my black card spa appointments like i frequently like to use. I always have to get help because my husband and i get "member id not found" on the screen EVERY TIME. Luckily one of the 2 ladies working at this location was very nice and made things easy for me and my husband (also a black card member). Unfortunately the other lady working was very rude and unhelpful. She only gave credit to one massage chair for both of us and stopped me in the locker room (with other ladies present) to tell me that jeans were not allowed for working out. I informed her that i was actually wearing black stretchy jeggings for the pockets (i am aware of the gym dress code and i do abide by it). She replied with "if your pants are stretchy then its fine but from where i am standing they look like denim". I stretched my jeggings to show her i was not lying. I was embaressed which I thought that was everything this paticular gym strived to prevent. I felt belittled for no reason or fault of my own.

Most of the time the staff is very nice when I come in and greet them I usually speak with them directly everytime I come in or leave. But, tonight my mother was nice enough to drop me off and wait for me to finish my workout but needed to use the restroom. She asked me if it would be a problem. I replied immediately to her that it shouldn't be. I couldn't be more wrong. Immediately one of the staff members with a black shirt (I'm assuming who is the manager) gave her the hardest time. He asked for an ID, then a signature, then took his time to ask for her for an ID again then said she needed a number after I had already signed in and gave my number on record to sign in to work out since I usually don't use the app. She was literally dancing in pain so she wouldn't have the embarrassment of using the restroom on herself. She's over 60year's old. She politely did everything the man behind the counter asked for staying patient. But after he asks for the number again she finally takes a stand for herself out of frustration and saying "Nevermind" rushing to John's Incredible's Pizza next door where they apologized on Planet Fitness behalf and didn't hesitate to let her use the restroom. I was very shocked that Planet Fitness claims to be a judgment free zone but did exactly that. After checking on my mom and making sure she was comfortable I had to come back to finish my work out getting signed in by the same staff member who didn't even apologize for being rude to me or my mother and acted as if nothing had just happened. I gave my log in information and He just just complained and said that I owed Planet Fitness money because it took money from my card but not from my account. Basically implied that "It's just $10" I just apologized for the inconveniences and then graciously said thank you and continued my work out. I suggest some customer service classes to the management team here at the Carson location.

The employees are friendly and very helping. I also like how this place is spotless clean! Restrooms, and overall whole gym is so clean and kept well by employees. I love this gym and glad I finally signed up! Thank you to all their employees there!
