The NHRA Motorsports Museum located at The Fairplex in Pomona,California is terrific place to see up close and personal an excellent collection of hot rods, drag cars, dry lakes and Bonneville Salt Flat cars and much, much more! Lots to experience and see here and the museum keeps the cars in pristine condition including informative descriptions and details for a great motorsports historical and educational experience.Lots of photo opportunities here so bring your cell phone or camera! Whats really neat about the NHRA Motor Sports Museums the new cars that are frequently rotated into their collection! The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in the world of motorsports! They also have a large souvenier, book, memorabilia and clothing section to bring some memories home with you or for a motorhead gift! Plenty of free parking and discounts for Auto Club of Southern California members and seniors.Open 7 days a week. There are also monthly "Cruise-Ins" and car shows that attract some of the very best custom and vintage cars, trucks and motorcyles in So Cal so check there great website for the current schedule of upcoming events! . . . . #nhra #nhramotorsportsmuseum #fairplex #hotrods #roadsters #dragsters #lowriders #chevy #ford #chrysler #elmirage #muroc #bonnevillesaltflats #seetheusa #lakesters #scta #200mphclub #scta #wallyparks #gregsharp #southerncaliforniatimingassociation #motorsports #museums #family #motorheads #pomona #ilovecars #drylakes #ricohtheta #ricohthetaz1 #photografxworldwide #waynesalvatti #seetheusa #gofast #winternationals #wallyparks #360photography #photografxworldwide

Dozens of legendary cars for the hard-core gearhead, with some good stuff explaining the history. Not huge, but worth the price and an hour or two of your time.

Great place to take the kids and see an amazing collection of automotive history. The museum is clean and well laid out. We will be back for sure.

The NHRA Motorsports Museum supported the family and friends of Tom McEwen with the memorial and to support their wishes. Out of respect of Tom, his family, and friends we took their lead on the level of publicity given and the museum worked with Phil Burgess at National Dragster to publish coverage. That article and photographs are located here: https://www.nhra.com/news/2018/fond-farewell-mongoose

Unfortunately not yet. We would like to digitize our collection so that is possible. Becoming a member of making a gift to the museum helps support programs like this. Thanks for your question.
