I am very displeased with your location in Danville Illinois specifically the best western regency. We tried to stay there for 2 nights due to our central air going out in our house. Upon my attempted check in when they asked about my sons service dog they asked for his identification card. When I informed MJ (not sure her name she refused to tell me) that she did not have the right to ask that due to the fact that there is no actual such thing that all she was allowed to ask was: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. She told me that she had to see his card or I couldn’t stay. At this point I was getting upset but told her I would show her the card we are given from the organization he was trained by even though she didn’t have the right for it. Upon re entering and giving her the card to make a copy of she called her manager and said it didn’t look like all the other Illinois cards I tried to explain her that’s because anyone can go online and get a card made saying an animal is a trained service dog. That our dog came from an organization in Ohio that trains service animals for people all over the country. She then tried to charge me an extra $100 deposit because of Boggart and I told her that was illegal that service animals are exempt from that and she got irate and canceled my reservation and through my Id and the dogs card back at me. We are now at another hotel that had no issues and followed the ADA guidelines perfectly. I will not be staying at another best western ever and will encourage my family and friends not to either.

The biggest things were no hot water which means no pool/jacuzzi use. The lady at the desk was a bit rude. And the trains go threw between 4 to 6 am. It's right off the interstate and quiet for most part. The room was pretty clean. The breakfast was good.

Went on Best Western app and they wanted 250$ for a room. This is barely worth 80$. Old hotel, not well taken care of barely any towels or anything in the room. Go to Champaign to find better. Danville does not have reasonable priced rooms. Very overpriced area and really not a consumer friendly place with limited amenities nearby.

1. There were two dead cockroaches on the trim above the elevator door on the second floor, and a big dead spider in a web above our hotel room door. Seriously. 2. Hastily-made wall repair and paint in our room. On one repaired edge, unfinished wallboard tape extended over the corner. 3. One hand towel and one washcloth, and two small "bath" towels in the room. 4. Toilet paper roll had about ten sheets. We needed to go to the front desk for more. 5. No safety chain on the back of the room door. 6. Strong odor of marijuana outside the hotel when we arrived. 7. Online price was ~$90, but the price charged for the night was $140 plus tax. 8. Morning breakfast omelet and sausage were very dry.
