This place is what a shoe repair shop is supposed to be. You smell the leather, you see the machines and you feel like your feet just walked into comfy foot paradise. I got my shoe heels done (replaced) and put on front and rear taps. For an added bonus I got my favorite faux leather weekend travel bag repaired as the faux leather was damaged and sliced. Joe and his partner performed their magic and boom my bag and favorite shoes were reborn. I highly recommend this place.

Really good service. My 10 year old boots looks bran new. Let's see how many more years i get out of them.

Very disappointing. Brought in a pair of boots to have sole replaced, charged 75 dollars. The boots had a small tear just above the junction of the new sole which they were unable to fix. This renders the boots unwearable as they are no longer waterproof a fact I believe they were aware of when they charged me full price to replace the sole. Failure, dishonesty, to point out to the customer that the 75 dollar sole replacement would not fix the boots us appalling. They knew there was a problem they couldn't fix but they charged money for and performed a totally useless repair.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a watch repair shop. I had two watches and a pair of shoes repaired, one watch and the shoes were done fine. The second watch was dropped off needing a new strap and batteries. I return to find the watch face cracked, the owner of the store denies it and makes me wait as he tries to call his son to reconfirm that I dropped off a broken watch. I explain to him that I would not have wasted his time dropping off a broken watch to fix. He reluctantly agrees to give me a discount of $4.00 since the crack is on the edge of the glass and he can't get in touch with his son. The watch then stops ticking after a few hours and after one wear of the watch, the band starts to fall apart. I return to the store where the owner claims that since the battery worked when they put it in, it's the watch that is broken probably because the previous battery corroded. I said that is understandable by why did no one tell me about this since there would have been signs of corrosion. The owner then raises his voice saying it's not his fault and that I can't be blaming them for everything. I repeat to him that the work for the other watch and shoes were great but it needs to be acknowledged that my other watch was mishandled. He then claims a man dropped of this watch even though I both dropped it off and picked it up. He says he's raising his voice because I am saying it is the shop's fault and that he'll no longer talk to me until tomorrow when his son is in the shop. The shop owner's obstinance reveals the foundation of this review, I have worked with various repair shops and craftsman and worked in retail myself, if a customer is not happy it is about identifying solutions. The owner's choice to play the game of "it's not my fault, this is your problem" is deplorable. If he has been in business for "40 years" as he yelled at me, then wouldn't he have asked why am I getting a watch fixed that has a broken face? Wouldn't I have been contacted prior to them installing the battery that the watch had signs of corrosion if the old battery had leaked, as he proposed was the cause of the watch not working? So for my folks reading this review right now, keep scrolling to other repair shop options. You'll do better and get more respect somewhere else.

I'm assuming that they can, but call to make sure 718.230.0629. They're Jewish & close early on Fridays & closed Saturdays. They can explain to you how they will do it, if it can be done. They can work miracles. I love them!
