Excellent place to find...wait for it.......Specialty produce! Chefs shop here and its no wonder why. There is an excellent selection of rare and interesting food products here. Make sure to wear layers because you'll be walking in a building sized refrigerator!

Amazing market. They have a variety of produce and fruits from different farms. They provide a tour of their facility. They have a 4 huge walk in fridge. They also have a micro greens fridge. It’s worth a visit.

This place has huge selection of the freshest ingredients. It can be a little overwhelming at first but you can shop around the warehouse or ask for a produce box. We get one once a week and are usually pretty stoked on the surprise assortment each time. Great ingredient spot for a chef in a restaraunt or just the chef at home.

I bought beautiful fava beans last Thursday and want to know where they were grown and how to contact grower. Joan Cunningham
Apple bananas were last available in their inventory on 02/05/19 according to their website. Since their inventory is constantly changing as produce becomes available or cannot be sourced I always recommend calling if you have a specific need.
I do not know. The staff are helpful and could hopefully find the answer for you.
Probably do, just call them! It's nothing they don't have!!!
yes they have them in a section called the farmers market
I am unsure if Spwcialty Produce has Jonathan apples. Call the grocer and they will help you.
Yes they do :)
Have not bought any young green coconuts. Items I buy last fresh for at least 2 1/2 weeks.
They have package meat. I am a retail customer. You should call them and ask about the pricing.
I believe honeycomb and passion fruit are available year-round. I think the other three are more seasonal. You can check their website, specialtyproduce.xom, in a desktop browser and the product page information lists if there's any in inventory and the last time it was sold.
No, they do not.
if we have it frozen
As in a semi-truck? If you don't have a trailer hooked up yes, but on the street if there is a spot big enough
Yes. You can check their website every day to see what they have.
Hi Bianca, these questions are posted to the community. For something this specific, please call the store 🤔
Come on down! We'll give you a tour!
Yes. They sell to most of San Diego's restaurants, however they are open to the public 7 days/week. Besides produce, they have a selection of local brands as well (candy, truffles, dips, snacks and even cookbooks)
